Upon prior request, we email or "snail mail" our new updated pricelists in late January to February for our spring shipping season.

Orders can be made by telephone, by email, or "snail mail".

Payment: Cash, Check or Money order. Visa & MasterCard accepted . PLEASE WRITE CHECKS TO: NEOTROPIC NURSERY. There will be a charge of $30.00 on all returned checks.

Payment must accompany order. Minimum mail order: $50.00.

Florida residents add 6% sales tax.

Plants are mostly shipped via direct delivery courier ground service,  so we will need your street address for delivery.

Allow 1 to 2 weeks for order delivery.

All plants are shipped in containers in soil they are grown in with root mass and soil intact.

Our standard  plant container sizes range from 4 inch,  6 inch,  8 inch,  and 10 inch dia. pots.

Plants that are larger than 10 inch (3 gal), are by  special price quote only.

Our shipping period to northern areas generally runs from late March through September, sometimes the season can be extended depending on when cold weather begins and ends.

Some plants are too large to ship, and must be picked up at the nursery. In some cases if prior special arrangement has been made for additional postage and handling, some larger size plants may be shipped.

Contact us before ordering to arrange transportation of larger plants.

If you have any specific shipping instructions, such as preference of company, or expedited shipping,  please notify at time of ordering.

We cannot ship to the following areas: International, and the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii.




Prices are subject to change without notice.

Visits to the nursery are welcome, but by appointment only.

Plants are sold on a first come, first served basis, and sometimes are in short supply. Please indicate on your order form if you would like us to substitute a similar plant for one we are out of, or if you would like a refund, or credit on your account.

 If for any reason you are dissatisfied, or wish to ask a question about the plants, please just contact us. We will  work with you, and try to resolve the problem in a way that is fair and reasonable to you and us. Sometimes plants can arrive a little travel weary, and the plants would appreciate a little recovery time, to get their best appearance. If after a reasonable period, the plants do not recover, contact us. 

We endeavor to provide you with plants that are "true to name" according to current scientific nomenclature (description).  Sometimes, field collectors can make mistakes, ( though, rarely), so we cannot be responsible for changes in plant nomenclature, or for occasional mistakes made by our professional seed and plant suppliers.

We will make every effort to ship healthy plants, and to avoid shipment during inclement weather.

We shall in no case be liable for any sum greater than the amount originally received for the stock.

If you wish special preference of shipping company, or the postal service, please notify us prior to shipping, so that we may make arrangements. If you have any special instructions or requests as applies to shipping your plants, please advise with your order.

 Our nursery stock changes constantly. There are usually other species here at the nursery, maybe not in large quantity, or too large to put on the mail order listing. If you are looking for something, and you don’t see it on the list, please inquire, we may have it sitting in a corner of the nursery.
